Fred's Boys : Memories of King's Canterbury - 1935-62

FRED'S BOYS
'Fred's Boys' is a collection of reminiscences written by the pupils and staff of the Kings School Canterbury from 1935 to 1962 - Life in the classroom, on the games field, in the house, and the Cathedral. Memories now told some 50-60 years later of influential and eccentric masters, of music, drama, the war, of punishments and food ! Contributions to the book come from over 100 Old Kings Scholars who were under the headmastership of Canon F. J. Shirley usually known as “Fred”.

The wait is over. Fred's Boys is finally here! It's like going back in time - fascinating stories from over 100 Old King's Scholars - Some of them now famous, the actor Oliver Ford Davies, author Christopher Matthew and television producer Richard Bates - have written of their school days at Kings School Canterbury.
